Only 1 Of 2 Jadelle Implants Left, Pregnant???

Hi everyone. So last week I went to get the jadelle removed but they only managed to get out one of the two implants. I had them both in for 5 years and one of them is really deep so I'm waiting on acc to approve of it being surgically removed.... Anyways, I was intimate with my partner without using protection 2 nights ago and was just wondering (if although I still have one rod in) whether I could be pregnant?

Yes, there is a risk of pregnancy, not a very high one, but it is possible, especially if the implants are expired.

The FDA lists the typical implant side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, and PMS-like symptoms.
