Oneprazole Casodex Bicalutamide

I have been taking Casodex for a number of months. I have experienced many of the side effects indicated including tenderness in my neck and aches in my shoulders I have recently been diagnosed with acid reflux and a small duedinal ulcer through an endoscopy procedure. I have been prescribed Omeprazole 20mg by Sandoz which I have taken for two weeks. Since taking these tablets in conjunction with Casodex I now get a dry acid throat with which I have a cough. Is this normal and is there any way to alleviate this very uncomfortable feeling?

Hello, Jeff! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems you've been experiencing.

Those actually sound like symptoms from the acid reflux and they should improve, as your condition improves.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of Omeprazole as possibly including nausea, dizziness and stomach pain.

If your doctor approves, you may be able to chew a couple Tums tablets to help ease the symptoms.

Does anyone else have any suggestions that may help?

bicalutamide just been prescribed for grade 4 prostate cancer.
Side effects concern me. What about the mixing with asprin and candersartan?
