On 86ml Of Methadone And Wanting My Breasts Enlarged

I'm just a phone call away before I book my boob job but a bit worried as I haven't told them I'm on 86ml of methadone. Will they still do it if I tell them on the day?
So worried an confused please help

No, you really do need to let them know ahead of time, especially about the Methadone.

It can cause some problems with certain types of anesthesia and analgesics that may be required during and after the surgery, some of which could be life threatening.

And, even if you don't suffer any serious ones, I really don't think you want to wake up and find you can feel everything in the middle of the surgery, or discover that the pain medications aren't working immediately afterwards.

In such cases, it is very important to be honest and let them know in advance.

Hey hun....please be careful! In order for a doctor to give us correct treatment we need to be honest. Just say he happens to use a drug that has an ingredient that interacts with methadone of valuim and you haven't told them....it could lead to really bad results and or death. You never know. Be honest. It is no big deal to them....they will still treat your pain after surgery with great breakthrough medication. Don't ever lie to hold the truth back from a Dr. because it prevents them to doing their job safely. Be careful and good luck. ;)

By apprising them well beforehand of your predicament you will be doing yourself a big favour in the process by getting it off your chest per your making a clean breast of everything.

It's always wise to write everything down on paper that you think any medical professional should know about you and take it with you to give to them, as you may forget some important details on the day, especially if you are at all nervous etc.. Just as you have wisely explained your situation via this online forum, and received some feedback in due course, you can similarly let your doctor[s] know in writing everything they need to know before they elect the best treatment for you.

Well are you prescribed these meds? Rather you are or aren't you should tell them ... because if something goes wrong they need to know what's in your system. I have been on tons of opiods and valium like drugs(benzos) before, during and after a few surgeries and it was no major thing to them. But please for your own safety, and I don't know your medical history, be sure to tell them. It's not anything to be afraid of.
