Omnicef is an antibiotic that contains the active ingredient Cefdinir, it is not effective at treating the virus that causes a cold, but can treat the bacteria that causes some types of pneumonia.

It may cause side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
