My wife has been using Omnacortil 5mg daily each morning for the last year. Now she is 3 months pregnant and we would like to know if this medication causes any harm for my wife or my child during the pregnancy?

I had taken Omnacortil 20mg for 1 week during the end of my pregnancy and conceived a week later. Will that be harmful for my baby?

Omnacortil contains the active ingredient Prednisolone, which is a steroid class medication and though no controlled human studies have been done, animal studies during pregnancy have shown evidence of harm to the baby.
