I have been experiencing a rather persistent cough and mucus, for which I am currently taking Montair LC and Foracort 200 regularly. In addition, my doctor prescribed Azicip, but it didn't yield any positive results. Recently, he suggested I take Omnacortil 10mg. However, I'm hesitant to do so because I also suffer from endometriosis which could potentially recur. I'd like to know if this steroid might lead to the development of cysts?

Actually, steroids are usually used to help get rid of cysts, according to the NIH. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, fluid retention, nervousness, and insomnia.
