Omeprazole Dr 20mg Side Effects

I was on omeprazole for about 3 years and it worked great. The last time I had it refilled it made my acid reflux worse and gave me nausea. The capsules are a different color than what I had been taking, is it possible they switched to a different type.

I have taken 20 mg omeprazole tabs for several years with good results. Recently had laryngitis and nodules were found on my vocal cords. Dr. thought reflux may be contributing to the voice problems so she changed me to 40 mg capsules. I have hmgad nausea, diarrhea, dry mouth and throat and no appetite for about 3 weeks along with a dry cough. Thought I had the flu but it wouldn't go away. Realized it started same time I changed mg on omeprazole. Went back to 20 mg and got better. Go figure!

What are the markings on the capsules?

That's what would enable me to check them for you and see what they contain. I can't really tell you anything about them just from the slight information in your post.
