Olmax 40mg Side Effects

Recently, I switched from Amalvos-H to Olmax 40mg. Within 10 days of use, I began to experience erectile dysfunction (ED) and muscle pain in my back, specifically in the muscle used for back bending. However, my doctor dismisses my observations and insists that I can continue using this medicine. Are these known side effects of Olmax?

Olmax contains the active ingredient Olmesartan and it can cause those types of symptoms as side effects, but they usually start to taper off, after your body gets used to the medication. That usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks, if they don't start to ease up after that, then you'll need to talk to your doctor about taking a different medication.

All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, you just really have to wait them for awhile to see if they go away, or not.
