Olivia 787 While Breastfeeding

Can I take Olivia 787 while breastfeeding? I started having a runny nose 2 days ago and now I have a really stuffy nose.

Pliva lists it as containing 250mgs of Azithromycin, which is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash, diarrhea, and headache.

Thus, it will not do anything to treat a cold, and you should not take it, unless your physician has instructed you to do so.

Are you on any other medications?
