Okacet (cetirizine) Tablet For A Cold

Can i take a Cetrizine hydrocholride 10 mg tablet twice daily for a cold? I am a 60 year old lady.

This is an antihistamine that is used to treat allergies, it will not help with a cold and the symptoms caused by a cold. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.

Is there anything else I can help with?

100% incorrect. Certirizine is incredibly effective for headcolds. It clears sinuses way FASTER than a decongestant.
