Can I give ofloxacin 50mg and ornidazole 125mg to my 4 month old baby as a treatment for diarrhea?

Has your pediatrician instructed you to do so?

These medications may cause diarrhea as side effects, according to NIH reports, so you shouldn't give them to your baby, unless a doctor has instructed you to do so. Other side effects as listed as possibly including nausea, headache, and non-allergic skin rash.
