Odor Of Eliminations While Taking Eliquis (Page 3) (Top voted first)

I hate to be indelicate but I have noticed something strange since taking Eliquis. My urine and bowel movements smell different and I wondered if anyone else had noticed this. I would describe it as sort of a toasted oaty fragrance. I am not making this up or being weird. I am concerned and hope I am not along.

I've been on it for a month now, and I noticed the awful smell with bowel movements. Also tarry color some days, and frequent bowel movements daily.

Yes. Definitely an odd odor to my urine. I feel the need to shower more as though my urine smell is making me unclean

My father was using aspirin for longtime without any smell, after he got stroke, and they take the clot out, his problem with high blood pressure gone, and his smell changed and become bad after that while he's using the aspirin after the stroke by two month, later they change to apixaban his smell continued, due to his problem with the sleep and muscle we give him some supplement, I notice after he use the Magnesium Tauratethe bad smell gone, I hope this can in help for you. This is the supplement:

Vitamin B-6 (as Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) 25 mg 1,471%
Magnesium (from Magnesium Taurate) 400 mg 95%

I’ve noticed a smell too from taking Eliquis. I smell fruity for a minute and then it switches to burnt smoke. It’s horrible.

Hi you cans top taking Eliquis and replace it w/ Garligin. It's garlic and ginger. I have been taking it for years, it works very well as a blood thinner, 3x a day. No side efffects. FYI, I have ventricular tachycardia.

Since starting on Eliquis almost a year ago for AF I have noticed my stools are liquidy-almost never formed-color normal-never noticed smell. I have gained a few almost inpossible to lose pounds and I am tired a lot.

Eliquis 5mg made me smell odd under arms. Like baseline as someone mentioned. Just got reduced yesterday to 2.5 mg and can already tell a difference. Same smell but not near as strong.

Been on Eliquis for a week now and I can’t begin to tell you how different my bowel movements smell, plus I’ve never had body odor and now I have a terrible smell coming from my armpits. It’s awful!

started have stools smell like sewer was on 8 months then zeralto no smell on warfin

was on warfin 16 years no smell no sulfur in warfin got on eliquis boom smelly like death in stools got on zeralto same thing both have sulfur in them but wow a sewer smell and not listed on side effects a gi doctors wants to give me antobiotics that can kill me or damage my tendons forever what is going on here????

change eliquis to warfin was on farfin 16 years switched to eliquis boom foul smelling its a cover up of side effects

Same here, smells were awful and my heart doctor had me tested which revealed blood in my stool. Took me off of it. This stuff is dangerous.
