There are Morphine equivalents to all the formulations of Oxycodone, the time released, regular release and the instant release.
They are all available as generics, so you could ask your doctor about them.
I remember when I was on pain management and had a time period where we were switching from on insurance to the other, so there was a break where I had no coverage, the Morphine was less than half what the Oxycodone cost, though it is still not cheap.
