Oxybutynin 5mg

I had taken Oxybutinin for 10 years or more. I was paying $10. a month for 90 days, at Walmart... Last time I went to pick it up it had gone up to $168. for 3 months.. I refused to pay for it..That has been about 2 months ago. I have experienced some severe sweating, from my head to my legs...My cuticles on my fingers are getting infected from them drying out...And I peed in my bed last night...I wear Pee Pads & am tired of smelling like a wet diaper all the time ....Are these problems due to me going off of the Oxybutinin?

I take oxybutynin to stop me sweating and when I don't take it I look like I have done a work out at the gym, so Yer if you stop taking it your body goes back to how it was before.

I have been back on Oxybutinin for well more than a month. The sweating has continued along with several other symptoms!! I am sitting here, not doing anything but reading email & sweating my ass off.. I am at my wits end!!

I have botox on the NHS in my armpits every 6 months couldn't you ask your doctor about that to see if it helps, or have the sweat glands removed?

I was prescribed Oxybutin from a neurologist (I thought it was worth the cost if it helped me so gained a referral from my GP) after he advised very little can be done for facial sweating as it's such a difficult area to treat. I told him I'd read about Oxybutin and he said its be worth a try. I suffer from facial sweating when anxious, in humid conditions and exercising (I am a fit 42 year old). I take it only when I know I'm going to need it and find it does help to significantly reduce my problem. The only side effect I have is a dry mouth which I'm happy to deal with. The cost here in Australia is $16.55 for 100 tabs- cheap!
