Can this cream be used to treat plantars warts on the bottom of the foot?

Hi Kim,

Information on the packaging label indicates that Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream is indicated for the treatment of cutaneous candidiasis. It doesn't specify whether or not it can be used to treat anything else outside of that, but who knows, it may be worth a shot if it's the only thing you have at your disposal.

The dosage and administration guidelines note the following:

"Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream is usually applied to the affected areas twice daily in the morning and evening by gently and thoroughly massaging the preparation into the skin. The cream should be discontinued if symptoms persist after 25 days of therapy."

In the meantime, I would consider taking the cream over to one of your local pharmacies and asking them what their opinion is on the cream and whether or not you should use something else that is specifically for planter's warts.

I appreciate the information advice because i went looking for boil ease and Walmart did not have it and i do not know why i did not think about early to try my nystain cream that i have at home. I sure hoping it going to help. I got some la-cane earlier because it was the closest thing i could find to boil ease ingredients. Nystain seems to be better. Hoping it going to work.
