Nuzak Side Effects - Stuttering

Good day. I was put on Nuzak about a month ago. I went to the doctor for back pain, then she saw me shaking or shivering. I mentioned that this was in my family since my father has the same symptoms as me but now lately these symptoms have increased. I've been more shaky then ever and I'm starting to stutter which I never did or as a child had it. I'm beginning to think that this is just worsening the situation and that the DR scratched where it didn't concern her. I work on a daily basis with a lot of clients and this is embarrassing because now I seem incompetent as if I do not know my job or work. This week I stopped taking it and now I'm wondering how long it will take to fully clear out of my system? Please is anybody experiencing this or is it just something wrong with me?

Nuzak is listed as containing the active ingredient Fluoxetine, most commonly known in other countries as Prozac, and it has been known to cause tremors, shaking, slurred speech, acute brain syndrome, balance disorders, and incoordination as side effects in some people that take it, so yes, it may have been worsening your symptoms.

It can vary depending on the dose, and duration of time you were taking it, so it's hard to be specific on how long it will take, but if it's been only a month, or so, it shouldn't take too long.

However, the initial symptoms that you said your dad has, and that you also started developing are still of concern, and your doctor should be checking to see what's causing them.
