Numbness Of Legs, Stomach, Face

My 32 year old Daughter is currently on Eloquis 5 mg twice a day and lately she has been expressing her concerns about the Eloquis. She has been experiencing considerable numbness in her legs and stomach and mildly in her face. It seems to be more in the fleshy areas of her body because when asked if she is experiencing that same numbness right under her breasts above where the swelling is on her stomach or on her feet which below the swelling she is experiencing on her both of her legs. Or even the fact that her cheeks on her face are numb but the forehead is not which also sort of points to the fact that perhaps the fleshy areas of the body are more affected by the swelling and/or the medicine. >>>I am writing this because she has been on the Eloquis for month and is seeing some of the side effects that are described with this medicine Eloquis. I am VERY worried about her and we have just contacted her physician concerning what we have found with the medicine. She did have some foggy minded days for a few but that seems to have passed. So now we are just worrying about the numbness and I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this sort of thing and did it ever go away on its own or at least get a bit better?? Her doctor seems to be very pro-Eloquis and I am afraid he may tell her to continue using the product and his office can further monitor her and I do NOT want this because I am afraid for her!! Has anyone's numbing gotten better?? Or returned back to normal?? Also, does anyone know of another name of a blood thinner that does exactly what Eloquis does?? Thank you for any and all kindness and help!!!

Though there have been many posts on here regarding this medication, they've mostly all had to do with the aches, pains, headaches, bruising and bleeding that the FDA lists as regular side effects.

This is not something listed as being normal and yes, there are several other blood thinners that she could switch to, so she needs to speak to her doctor about this odd issue.

Is there anything else I can help with?
