Nucynta For Acute Pain

My Dr. gave me Nucynta 50 mg yesterday. If I run out of my Hyromorphone Hcl 18mg, can I take the new drug Nucynta 50mg for withdrawals from Hyromorphone Hcl? If anyone has had hands on experience with this, or know's of someone that has? Any help would be well appreciated! I ended up taking the NUCYNTA this morning due to acute pain brought on by a car accident 4 weeks ago.

I have been taking this medication for a month now. Dose is 4x a day and I am very pleased , the pain relief as been relieved immensely , Vicodin was not doing much other than making me a couch potato . Down side is you can't miss a dosage or pain returns quickly, lower back and legs in my case. Overall for me it is a 10 enabling me a much more active lifestyle.
