Nucotrim Tablet Uses

My boyfriend had TB and was given Nucotrim tablets. Are these tablets for HIV patients?

This medication is an antibiotic that can be used to treat various types of bacterial infections, not just HIV.

The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

Hi,

How long must I take Nucotrim? Since I started it two weeks back, I experience these kinds of side effects: headache, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, & dizziness. Please help.

My a friend has TB, HIV, and lack of blood, and they gave her Nucotrim. My question is if it’s safe for her since she has a lack of blood???
