I’m Bipolar and have had a history of mania and depression. Thank You ## Have you discussed this with your doctor, and dentist? What are possible side effects of novocaine? ## Possible side effects of Novacaine is numbness or tingling of the face or mouth, and pain at the injection. More serious side effects are: anxiety, difficulty breathing, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, seizures, rash, irregular heartbeat, and swelling.
