After taking novelon for 21 days my periods have not started. Is there any chance of getting pregnant while taking novelon?

i ve taken nevelon tablet for last 2 month regular ithout any gapping,i use this tabet due to rt ovarian cyst.b now my mntlyperiod was not coming in lat 2 monh , is thre any serious matter,please do suggest me

i have pcod on both the overies and i had taken novelon for last 3 months and at that time my periods date was very regular ,now i stopped the tablet i had my last periods on 21 jan 2015 but again i got my perids on 31 jan 2015 what may be the problem

I have harmonal disabilty from last 5 year but I take novelon pills for last 4 month suggest my doctor . I leave this month that pills so my problem again start like periods show 9 days some pain. So please suggest me I take again these pills regularly. Thanks

I had started taking novelon on jan 22nd (the 3rd day of my menses). I took for 21 days (till 11th feb). Today is my 6th pill-free day and my period has not yet started. I have PCOD. My periods used to get delayed by 10 days. So my doctor advised me to take novelon. This is the first time i had any hormonal pill. I am surely not pregnant. Could you please advise me on what to do? Shall i start the new pack or wait for my menses to start?

HI, Mini!

There's always a chance of getting pregnant, regardless of what form of prevention you use. The only 100% full proof method of preventing pregnancy is abstinence.

When did you start taking it? Was it the first day of your menstrual cycle? If so, you should have been protected immediately and you may be skipping just because your body is adjusting to the hormones in this medication.

However, if you started taking it at any other time, such as when you weren't on your period, then it would have been necessary to use protection for the first 7 days to prevent pregnancy, because it takes that long for them to reach their full effectiveness in your body.

Have you had a pregnancy test done?

I had intercourse with my bf on 29th sep.I didnt get my periods for the month of oct so took novelon for 21days and got my periods after completing the course on 22november. In dec I didnt get my periods.Its jan now till today I havent got my periods.and I did not have intercourse after that.Is there any chance of pregnancy now?

I completed one cycle of novelon and got my periods on the fourth day after stopping novelon...and now from the fourth day of my periods I started a new pack of novelon... Can i have unprotected intercourse with my husband on the 5th day of taking novelon? Is it safe or will i become pregnant?...Please help me.

Whenever you use novelon it's better to use it for a period of 6 to 9 months. Don't stop early or the problem repeats.

When should I expect to start my next period after taking novelon tablets for 21 days? Recently I have been experiencing several days of bleeding during my periods and as a result I started taking novelon; but 4 days into my 21 day course, my next period started... Is this normal?

Hii... I had my last period on 30th may.. And i started novelon on 5th day of my period...and den i stoped tablt on 13th june... And now my periods started 20th june... Is there any problem or it happen?

hi..i tk novelon for 21 days without missing a tablet...after six days i got my periods..5days it ws normal flow nd after tat got brown spottng for 10 days..it dint stop now again i gt my periods nd it din stop 10 days over..pls hlp me

I have a cyst in my left adnexal ovary. I was diagnosed with the cyst this month in July 2017. I was having regular periods up until last month (June 2017). I had never gotten any problem related to my periods before, but this month I was not having proper bleeding and shed much less blood during my menses. My doctor prescribed me novelon, but as i am newly married i want to conceive also. Will this tablet affect my ability to get pregnancy in the foreseeable future?

My wife take Novalon tab 21 days for a preparations of IVF ,but now that idea is postponed .Now newly started a new medicine of Home. Pls detail and need answer for the restart mensural cycle as is possible nearly.Awaiting your answer .

Hi,
I have finished my novelon strip yesterday.now I want to delay my periods .If I immediately start the next strip and stop after taking 3-4 tablets ,den wat should b done with the remaining tablets in the strip??? Should I through it off or start taking tablets from same strip???

I had been taking novelon for 6 months and this month (September) after my periods I didn't take any. Can I take a 1-month break and then continue next month on the 8th day of my period? Is there any problem with that approach?
