After taking novelon for 21 days my periods have not started. Is there any chance of getting pregnant while taking novelon?

I completed one cycle of novelon and got my periods on the fourth day after stopping novelon...and now from the fourth day of my periods I started a new pack of novelon... Can i have unprotected intercourse with my husband on the 5th day of taking novelon? Is it safe or will i become pregnant?...Please help me.

I had started taking novelon on jan 22nd (the 3rd day of my menses). I took for 21 days (till 11th feb). Today is my 6th pill-free day and my period has not yet started. I have PCOD. My periods used to get delayed by 10 days. So my doctor advised me to take novelon. This is the first time i had any hormonal pill. I am surely not pregnant. Could you please advise me on what to do? Shall i start the new pack or wait for my menses to start?

hai, mam I had period on 12 june and i took novelon from 13th june then i stop taking pill from 23rd and then my period came on 26th .now in july i miss my period.i iam pregnant is there any problem for my child

My doctor told me to take novelon tablet. Since 3rd Dec I took it for 21 days, then I had my period on 30th Dec. After that on 12th Dec I did try for a baby, and today Feb 17th still I didn't have my period and I checked a pregnancy test but it's negative. So why didn't I have my periods again? Plz reply.

I have right side cist problem, I was taken last this as prescribed doctor. It will be continue 3 months.

i have pcod on both the overies and i had taken novelon for last 3 months and at that time my periods date was very regular ,now i stopped the tablet i had my last periods on 21 jan 2015 but again i got my perids on 31 jan 2015 what may be the problem

I have harmonal disabilty from last 5 year but I take novelon pills for last 4 month suggest my doctor . I leave this month that pills so my problem again start like periods show 9 days some pain. So please suggest me I take again these pills regularly. Thanks

I had intercourse with my bf on 29th sep.I didnt get my periods for the month of oct so took novelon for 21days and got my periods after completing the course on 22november. In dec I didnt get my periods.Its jan now till today I havent got my periods.and I did not have intercourse after that.Is there any chance of pregnancy now?

There's always a chance of getting pregnant, regardless of what form of prevention you use. The only 100% full proof method of preventing pregnancy is abstinence.

When did you start taking it? Was it the first day of your menstrual cycle? If so, you should have been protected immediately and you may be skipping just because your body is adjusting to the hormones in this medication.

However, if you started taking it at any other time, such as when you weren't on your period, then it would have been necessary to use protection for the first 7 days to prevent pregnancy, because it takes that long for them to reach their full effectiveness in your body.
