Not Being Able To Fill Your Rx For Oxycodone (Top voted first)
UpdatedOxycodone is yesterday's news, get over it!!!! You all need to stop crying, and face fact's, Roxyies are gone!!! Don't dispare, Zohydro Er just got approved by, Money,Lobbyist, and the DEA. Packs 10 time the punch of Roxies!! My neurologist of 12 year's said I'll have my Rx's for Zohydro next month, and yes, there water soluble. I'm missing 4 disc's in my lower back, and can't get them replaced because of the FDA., won't allow more than one disc's installed in USA., and Busted Cross & Broken Shield of FL. won't pay for having them installed in Europe so I'm must save my pennies up since it will cost me $250,000 to have done in Europe! Which I will do! Google Zohydro, if you think I'm kidding, Best of luck trying to keep getting your Roxies filled. As a point of reference, I've been on 121 pills of, 800 Micro Gr. of Fentora, 240 count, 30 mg.x 2 every month for the last 5 years. I know with which I speak!

From what I could gather, Zohydro Er (hydrocodone extended release) is supposed to be manufactured by Zogenix, Inc.; however I'm not finding any "up-to-date" articles on Google announcing when or if it has already been approved by the FDA.
The few articles I've come across, including this excerpt from March 27, 2013 suggest otherwise:
"A panel composed of pain experts suggested that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reject Zohydro, a new painkiller. The panel advised the rejection because the drug carries a high risk of abuse. They voted against the drug 11-2 with one abstention."

If approved, Zohydro ER will be classified as a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Schedule II drug, making it subject to stricter prescribing and dispensing rules, compared to the hydrocodone-acetaminophen combination products, which are classified as Schedule III drugs.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?
I have 3 herniated discs, scoliosys & a compressed fracture in my neck. That medication that you are talking about I've never heard of & oxycodone is the only thing that has ever helped me. Does that Z medication come in pill form?
