Nostrilla - What Happened To It? (Page 4) (Top voted first)

All of a sudden Nostrilla has disappeared from the shelf of my CVS (which is the only place locally that I was ever able to find it). Online sites have is listed as out of stock. Was it discontinued, recalled, or what?

I called the company again. The woman told me that Nostrilla has been shipped to the warehouses of CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid. We don't have Rite Aid here and Walgreens does not have them in the stores yet. But CVS has some! Walgreens should have them soon.

they have everything to do with nostrilla. If you dont see the connection then you are not thinking. She should not have apologized for writing a relevant, truthful comment that apparently you cant understand.

Anybody checked ebay lately for Nostrilla? Apparently there are some really greedy Sellers that know what is going on with Nostrilla, have gone out and bought up supplies we all need, and they are selling them for between $30-45/BOTTLE on ebay. I'd suffocate before I paid them!

Yes, I saw that too!! I saw one for around $60. How ridiculous! As you said, they are greedy.

If you need to buy it, go to Insight Pharmaceutical, they are the distributers, there is a phone # you can call and they can sent them to you as many as you need...I didn't already and it was super fast....when I first called they transfer me to another 1 800 # and left a message which they answer me very quickly ...hope this help you..

I went to CVS and they are again out of stock. I checked on-line at the places I used to get it and they do not have it. Is it really coming back? How can you get in touch with insight? It has been months now with spotty supply and I am beginning to wonder if they are just getting rid of the product and discontinuing it. I need Nostrilla!

The # for Insight is 1800 344 7239..just tell them you need to buy it and they wil send them to you...I bought a few of them and are cheaper than the stores..very easy and fast...hope this info was helpful..

You're right Patricia! I did that and ordered a batch and they said they are still in business but can't control if companies don't put them on the shelves, as they have sent supplies to warehouses. I was able to purchase from CVS last month, but nothing was available of late. Hopefully I will get the Nostrilla before I run out in a few weeks. Thank you very much for the information!

Finally found some Nostrilla at a new flagship Walgreen's store in Chicago. Nothing at other downtown Walgreen's or CVS stores for a while now. But here's news: the pharmacist told me it's Nostrilla's delivery system that makes if so effective. So we're not crazy when we say that other products with identical ingredients don't work.

I check from time to time, and you are correct Topcat!! It is back on drugstore.com and also CVS online. I have a good supply that will last me for a while, but I am very happy to know it is back in the market place and available!!!!

I have the same problem.
I can sleep only with CPAP breathing machine. Without old Nostrilla I can't sleep normally. I also hate these pharmaceuts!

I knew something was up.... my husband bought a couple of new bottles and I have opened them both. We have been using this product for over 20 years as it is the only thing that works on a stuffy nose. Both of these bottles caused my nose and throat to burn terribly for at least 30 minutes. My husband didn't believe me until our 34 year old son said the same thing last night. This is crazy, did they not test the product? With so many people having the same symptoms it is obviously a problem.

I have used Nostrilla for many years. In September I got a sinus infection and bought a new bottle of Nostrilla. It burned like crazy. I went back and bought another bottle and the same thing. I called them to complain. They were reluctant to give any information but after repeated questions the lady finally told me that the FDA made them put a preservative in the formula. Since then, I can not taste anything or smell anything. Has any one else had this problem?? I have since started seeing a ENT specialist. He has not told me why I can not taste or smell anything. I can sense/taste sweets, sours, peppers, and salty foods just no actual flavors. I would like to know if anyone else has had this issue.

Likewise, I have experienced identical issues having been a long time user. Something drastically changed with Nostrilla. I wondered if they made major chemical changes to their product. I cannot smell or tast anything. My sinuses have been flowing for 3 months and I am using a box of Klenex a say. My doc said today to throw the Nostilla away. He said I will go through 2 weeks of hell while my sinuses recover.
