Norvasc Vs. Amlodipine

I have taken Novasc without significant side effects however amlodipine causes shortness of breath what is the difference

It could be due to one of the inactive ingredients in the generic, they don't have to be the same as those used in the name brand.

To avoid the problem, you may want to ask your doctor to prescribe it as brand medically necessary, so you no longer receive the generic fem your pharmacy.
