All of the above feedback is excellent . Go to the suburbs and find a PAIN MANAGEMENT physician who isn't under such heavy scrutiny. Trying to find the right doctor that will work with you is the key ie you may need a Neurologist or Rheumatologist or whatever. . . . Be patient, it might be a long, long process. What kind of pain are you dealing with as stated above. Also I tell anyone to go to the SOURCE of the problem.
Just started using this cream for pain relief and would like some info on the contents of the cream
Since this site is not medical professionals, our trying to suggest treatments would be inappropriate.
And if you look at the forum title, you will see that this is posted in the Hydrocodone forum, so obviously that is the drug she is referring to when asking her question.
The treatment of chronic pain is a BIG issue amongst Doctors and is highly dependent upon where you live and the Doctor you have. In some states the Doctors are so afraid of having their licenses taken away from them due to local and state ordinance that are refusing to treat pain patients with adequate amounts of pain medication. What are your pain issues, what are you being prescribed and how long have you been going in for treatment for it? Without this information, no one can even suggest what might be a normal or proper treatment plan for your pain issues. It also might help if you tell us the area you have been getting treatment in and what, if any, problems you feel your having getting proper pain management. I know of people who have had to actually go to different counties or states to get proper pain medication.
There is no normal dosage, per se. Your doctor normally starts you off on a low dose and then adjustments will be made accordingly until your pain is under the best control possible.
