My doctor prescribes me Suboxone 8/2 mg film and Norco 10/325 mg together for pain relief and to prevent addiction. I personally feel more pain relief from both together rather than one or the other. And doing research I found that a few patients get my results from both simultaneously having something to do with the brain receptors. Any feedback and/or where I can find any web information. I have lost where I found the research. Thanks. ## Hi John, My findings state that there are actually potentially unsafe interactions between Hydrocodone and Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone). Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Using Hydrocodone together with Naloxone can reverse the effects of Hydrocodone. If you are a physically dependent patient you may experience withdr...

I am 39 years old. I have 4 herniated discs and 3 slipped discs my pain is sometimes too the point I can't move.I took 10 mg. norco witch worked then I moved to Cincinnati Ohio and the doctor I found wanted me to take Methadone and I don't like it, I just want too go back to the Norco. Please help me find a Doctor that can just give me what I need. ## Hi, Amanda! I'm sorry you're having such problems. There are probably several issues at play here that are causing them. One is that due to the increasing rates being found of improper prescribing and over prescribing, general practitioners and surgeons are being transitioned away from prescribing medications like Norco for long-term pain management. An attempt is underway to transition those to only being used for short pe...

In February of 2014 i went from oxycontin to fentanyl patch. Also was prescribed Norco/Hydrocodone 10/325's (up to 3 times a day) took urine test and it tested positive for oxycodone and no hydrocodone. I DID NOT TAKE OXYCODONE. I may lose my freedom, 13 months hard time, lose my kids, lose my job( least of my worries) my wife, and the support of many people. I have been seeing this doctor for 7 years and never tested positive for anything I wasn't taking. I am scared to death. ## I'm 99.9% positive what you're experiencing is called "false positive" or even more likely, since no hydrocodone showed up, the actual test was defective. You've been a patient with the same practice seven years? Obviously, you're not a chronic drug screen failure subject, else ...

I take Norco 10 / 325 and they aren't doing anything. I think I was even having withdrawals sneezing diarrhea and come to find out CVS carries Lupin. At first I thought I was building up a tolerance to the pain medication but it was like overnight. This can be traced back to when I got the medication from CVS from the manufacturer Lupin. I have about a 30 day supply left and can't get anymore but I definitely will not be going back there. I will be calling pharmacies to see who does not carry Lupin. ## Omg im so glad im not alone on the pupil brand. I literally hurt all over and they wear off in about 2 hours. I'm having a hard time finding my yellow ones and when i do call looking for them im treated like crap. I just want to cry. I have severe disk degeneration and need 5 ...

I took too many Norcos on accident in the morning. Am I ok now as far as od'ing? I took several 10/325 tablets. ## Can you die from Norco withdrawal? I almost did. If I didn't believe in the Lord, heaven and hell, I would have just died. That's how sick I am, cause I was given placebos from Walgreens. They are being sued now. I'm ready to go to court. I took a drug panel and it's not in my system. ## To the original poster, how did that happen? Did you mix it up with a different medication? The biggest danger there is possibly overdosing on the Acetaminophen, which you can read about on Medline Plus. You have to be extremely careful not to exceed 1,000mgs of it per dose, or 3,000mgs per day. An Acetaminophen overdose can be fatal, if not treated immediately, and succ...

My husband suffers from sciatica and has suffered from it for at least 10 years. He has had 2 major invasive back surgeries to release pressure off of his sciatic nerve. The second surgery got him off of the floor and enabled him to function but only with the help of Norco and Tylenol and Ibuprofen. For some reason there is NO Norco available in Houston or the surrounding suburbs at this time. Does anyone know what is going on? ## I am sorry to hear this as as I also suffer from sciataca and also live in Houston. I was just about to start reaching out to forums such as this one to look for Vicodin or Norco as my doctor put me on Norco but it cannot stop the pain. Can you let me know if you find anyone? my sympathy goes out to all Sciataca sufferers. ## Unfortunately, this happens yearly...

If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## I need the norco for lower back pain degenerative disc disease, and I have six broken ribs

I have been taking the generic form of Orange Oblong shaped form of Norco which is hydrocodone 7.5 which was working fine until they changed it to a pill with the markings M366. These things are absolutely worthless. Does Mallinckrodt plan on going out of business soon or are they going to remove these from the pharmacies. I'm sending samples of mine to the FDA to see what's wrong with them. ## I've used Qualitest 3605 for years and I agree, the Mallinckrodt M366 are substantially inferior (bio-equivalence) for pain relief. My current Part D insurance uses Walmart Home Delivery. I've called them and complained. ## They do not work. I have been spending most of my time in bed since getting my prescription from Walgreens with mfg Mallinckrodt. I believe that they are place...

what pharmacys other than walgreens carry the watson brandof norco10/325 ## Hello, Joel! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of which pharmacies carry a medication from any given manufacturer that I can refer to for you. Have you tried at your other local drug stores? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## HEB carries the yellow Watson brand. They worj very good. ## HEB carries the yellow Watson brand. What is HEB??I love in palm beach florida. For the last 8 years I've been filling my hydrocodone scripts there. We only go to them and pay more because they had the WATSON 853 brand 10/325 Now without any warning they changed them to gene...

My patient has recently had two (2) toes removed and he has extreme bad pain in his right foot. If you could help him out and get the right pain medication what would you recommend? ## Ideally, only a qualified physician who's examined the patient in person and reviewed their medical history can make an appropriate judgement call on adequate treatment for something like this. However from a layman's (outside) perspective it would seem that starting off with something mid-level in strength would allow for substantial wiggle room in the dosage and/or type of narcotic analgesic being administered. In my personal opinion based solely off observation (not having had any of my toes removed and can't fathom the amount of pain that might ensue) a moderate dose of hydrocodone appears...

I am a widow , & I moved to mid-America& I left a daughter behind. My youngest goes to MSU. I am an Author. I was on Vicodan 10/500 and they changed the laws and now only Norco is possible 10/325.For Chronic Nerve Pain. They had all my records. I Think they were ALL thrown away. The Qualitest Brand has fillers. I requested from my DR. Watson Norco..or NORCO ..not generic. I pay $1000 to a Man who I married in a faze of grief & doesn't do anything for me. I called Watson. They said to either ask my DR. for ONLY the Watson Brand or NORCO. Non Generic which would be $30. I've been getting my Norco , the Watson Brand. & Actually a Neurologist is supposed to be calling. I'm on huge amounts of Nuerontin and FINALLY..my Hepatologist said it was Crap. You Must be You...

Need otc remedy for norco withdrw.anyone have an idea to help lessen withdrawals?ive yet to go wthout and the withdrawals are scaring me ## I have been on norco for 7 years at 6 a day. I have gotten down to 2 a day. Will I have withdrawals? ## Hello sinnerman, According to NIH there is no way to 100% curb the withdrawal symptoms of stopping opiods. According to the American addictions center organization there are some ways that you can allevaite some of the symptoms or at least not make them worse than they need to be. The list is as follows. - Nutritional support, through diet and/or vitamin supplements - Hydration - Hydrotherapy, including baths and whirlpools - Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs - Anti-nausea medications - Topical analgesics - Natural sleep supplements - Antidiarr...

Ok I have several things this Dr has done to me over the last 3yrs and also back in 2012-2014. I first saw them in December of 2012. I had just had my 4th child in August and I was 40 yrs old. Their dad left while I was pregnant. I stumbled upon him at the Drs office for my baby, because I was in so much pain and could barely hold and feed him because my arms and hands fell asleep at night and were so numb and burned to the bone. Long story short, they recognized something was obviously wrong with me, so she referred me to a Dr that comes to her office once a month to see Medicaid patients. I made an appt (and mind you I had never been prescribed any pain pills stronger than Norco 10/325's in my life). The specialist put me on those for maybe 2 months, and then Fentanyl patches 50 w...

Can anyone offer their experiences with taking Norco or its various generics? How long have you taken it? I have just been prescribed this. ## I have taken Norco and the similar drugs like vicodin for many years. It is helpful for treating moderate pain for short periods. If you take opiate based pain meds for long periods of time you can build up a tolerance and you have to take more to get the same results. I have found taking an anti-imflamitory along with these meds helps to manage the pain. ## Hello, Jim! How are you? And thank you, Renee, for posting such helpful information. Some others things to keep in mind about Norco is that since it is an opiate narcotic, it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth a...

How can you tell a real 7.5/325 from a fake one? Is there any tests you or your pharmacy could do? Thank you! ## Hello, Arlene! How are you? No, the only way to be sure, if you didn't obtain it from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, would be to pay to have it lab evaluated somewhere. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? That information would enable to check more details on it for you, such as if there are known fakes. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I've gotten two different ones before that I thought and knew were fake. Including Norco 10/325. I'll write down markings of both. Markings on Norco ...

What pharmacy has yellow norco? I need to fill my prescription. ## Need a pharmacy in sacramento. Ca that carries yellow narcos 10/325 to phiil my percciption ## Hello, Tee! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of pharmacies according to which medication they carry from which manufacturer. Additionally, saying they are yellow isn't enough for someone to know which ones you're seeking. There is currently a shortage, due to mandatory manufacturing limits, so they may not be in stock at any pharmacy, until after the new year. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What are the markings on the ones you're looking for? Can you please pos...

My pharmacist that I have known for years due to chronic pain from cancer/severe spinal injuries and a totaled knee, told me last week that it is the DEA that has created the change in ALL pain meds. I have been on Watson Norco for 10 years and now I am in severe withdrawal with actavis buying out Watson. It is unbearable and my pharmacist said that people will DIE because of not being forewarned or informed ahead of time. This is all due to the people that use the drugs recreationally; and whatever else they do has ruined it for us real patients. We all know the DEA is like God and they don't even care about us real patients that have medical records, etc. I have been suffering for over a month now and my pain doc is on an extended vacation. Thank goodness for my pharmacist at leas...

I have severe Fibromyalgia and i am hurting non stop 24/7 in my neck, back, legs, and feet. I hurt so bad that the smallest task is so difficult for me to do.
