I am looking for a Primary Care doctor who will prescribe Norco in the Sacramento area. I don't take them often, just when the pain becomes too intense. My doctor stopped prescribing them, sends his patients to Pain Management. I am taking expired pills and they work well, but eventually I will run out of them. Thank you. ## The only thing you can really do is set up an appointment with a new doctor, make sure they receive a copy of your medical records, and talk to them about the issue, in person, at your appointment. However, do not ask about a controlled substance over the phone, via text message, email, or etc. Doing so can be seen a being drug seeking behavior, and most doctors will just say no, and refuse to see you. The FDA warns that Norco carries the risk of being habit for...

What is a white oblong pill imprinted WATSON 325 with a line in the middle of the back? ## yellow oblong pill with watson 10/325 line on other side ## In regards to the original post, that tablet has been asked about several times and I'm sorry, but at this time I am still unable to find an identification. It may be due to the late time that I am seeing these posts, it could've been something that has been removed from the market in the intervening years and is no longer available. However, I will keep looking and post an update, if I find anything on it. As to the bottom tablet with the WATSON 10/325 marking, I am actually not 100% certain, since I can't find anything in the various databases to confirm it, but these are reported to be an equivalent to Norco from a foreign ...

What is the difference between Norco, Percocet and Lortab? I have a script for all three. I have cancer and wondered which one is the strongest. I don't need all three pain meds if one is better than the other. Thank you. ## Hey CLM, the Norco and Lortab both contain the active ingredient hydrocodeine so basically the same medicine just different brand name. Unless they are a different dose 5/325 vs 10/325 then they are the exact same medication. Percocet contains oxycodone as the active narcotic and is stronger than the other two you mentioned. One may work better than the other for you personally but Percocet is the stronger of them. I hope this helps and the best of luck! ## Sorry for the typo, norco and lortab contain hydrocodone ## Lortab, and Norco both contain Acetaminophen, ...

I've taken pain meds for over 10 years, two years ago the doctor upped my script a bit from Vicodin 7.5/750 (d/day) to Norco 10/325 (3/day) but then last October I couldn't find the 10's anywhere (I prefer to get all my scripts from one pharmacy, a mom & pop shop I've been going to for almost 20 years). So kindly the doc switched me to Norco 7.5/350 (4/day) based on my pharmacy's suggestion. Now the pharmacy has been out for a week! I have no idea when my script will get filled and went to another pharmacy to ask an the said they aren't taking on new pain customers. I offered to transfer all my scripts there, only one is for pain but they still said no. Now what? Is there a shortage again in the Warren/Ferndale area of MI or is this happening across the count...

Need an pain clinic too treat my pain i have had 2 knee surgerys and taken 2-3 Norco 10 is not treating my pain i also have back pain ## Try TVPC/Spine and Neuro Center in Huntsville. Dr Morris Scherlis is my anesthesiologist and he is great. My only issue with them really is that for office visits I have to see one of his two staff members and the guy(Greg) is kind of an ass. Sorta condescending and suspicious of patients it seems. Also, I have a few other issues besides my back/sciatic pain and I was on several different meds for it including Ativan for anxiety/stress and ambien for sleeping problems due to my pain...I've weaned myself off both of them in the past year and done the same with my muscle relaxers. I was so sick of taking so much medication I just had to do something....

I've been taking Norco 10/325 for quite some time and have noticed a MAJOR difference in quality and effectiveness between manufacturers. To me the Mallinckrodt 367 are the most effective all around. Interpharm/Amneal (same company /have merged) IP110 version comes in second for me. Watson seems to be the worst with noticeably much less effectivepain relief and with me seems to act more like a sedative, knocking me out which sucks when you want to be functional/productive. Qualitest is okay but seems to be similar to the Watsons only with less sedation. Personally if the pharmacy doesn't carry Mallinckrodt or Interpharm/Amneal then I won't fill my prescription there. I know this subject has been discussed here many times before but I figure since the recent apparent formula ...

Need advice! I came to this site with the same issue, over a year ago - I'm one of unlucky people that has extreme sensitivity to "fillers" in most white colored norco 10-325 generic. I FINALLY found the dark yellow Qualitest. It was a VERY PAINFUL 3 month struggle! Now, with currant conditions, can't find this brand anywhere near me! Really need HONEST advice regarding any generic manufacturer that is well tolerated by ONLY PATIENTS WITH MY SIMILAR ISSUES PLZ. The malencrap & aurobindo were the worst. They gave me migraine headaches & sick to stomach. If someone has similar issues AND KNOWS OF A BRAND that is GOOD, please let me know. I'd be grateful. If need be I can have my Dr change the Rx to Vicodin or Vicoprofen. I just need a GOOD manufacturer name to ...

Pain management had me take a urine test. Could any of my meds cause me to test positive for METHAMPHETAMINE? I take NORCO, TRAMADOL, GABAPENTIN, FLEXERIL, CELEXA, ABILIFY, CLARITIN, LISINOPRIL, PROTONIX, TRAMADOL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, TRAZODONE, ASPIRIN, AMRIX, TAZTIA. I also take diet pills. ## Can ferrous sulfate & asprin affect a drug test for methamphetimine? ## Can ketorolac tromethamine make you show positive for methamphetamine? ## I've been taking methamphetamine for the past 4 weeks. My last dose was Saturday at about 3pm. I take my pain management drug test on Thursday at about 10-10:30. Will i still be dirty on May 11th at 10:30. Is 3 1/2 weeks long enough for a clean U/A? ## Diet pill is methamphetamine. Adipex? If it’s a script, just show it to the clinic or ...

My husband has been decreasing his dose of Norco for the past three weeks. He now has almost 1 1/2 days clean. He is tempted to go refill his prescription because he is so uncomfortable now - Is there foods that will help support his detox process. How long do you think the withdrawal symptoms will last? Thanks so much for the support! ## Is it a sin to take vicodin since it is made fun of if you need them even? People think you're an addict even when you can't stand your pain. ## There is really no diet that is guaranteed to help, it's best just to make sure that he is getting proper nutrition by having a healthy diet, and staying hydrated, since withdrawal from Norco can sometimes cause Dehydration. Other withdrawal effects may include headache, rebound pain, nervousness, ...

I found a half bottle of capsules in my daughter n laws room. She hasnt been to any doctor in the past 5 monthe. Im taking Norco and I wanted to know if Tylex cd is the same ## Hello, Carrie! How are you doing? No, they aren't the same. Tylex-CD contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen and Codeine. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. Learn more Codeine details here. And Norco contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. Learn more Norco details here. Both are narcotic analgesics, which have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, Hydrocodone is much stronger than Codeine, to give you an idea of the difference, for each 5mgs of Hydrocodone you take, you'd have to take 33.33mgs of Codeine to be equivalent in pain relief. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Tylex ...

I am 50 and work a hard labor job for 25 years. I am in chronic pain constantly. I want a better quality of life and to continue to work. I need a Doctor in Orange County, CA that can prescribe Norco for my pain. ## The main issue here may be due to the fact that you're asking for/looking for, a specific pain medication, especially one that contains a narcotic. Many doctors will see that as drug seeking behavior, it is something they are taught to watch out for in new patients. The best thing you can do is to see a new doctor and make sure that they receive a full copy of your medical records, so your records can speak for themselves. A doctor will be more likely to follow the information and prescribing practices of their fellow physicians. Does anyone know a good doctor in the are...

These are the first ones ever I have seen from Pars Pharmacy and they are the lowest quality I have ever had to use. I have been taking norco daily for pain since 2004. I have never complained before about Generic medicine quality but this drug wears off at 2 hours if it even starts to work at all. I reported the pills to FAERS because they feel literally like a placebo. I have also reported this to my Pharmacy, pharmacy manager, the CVS Headquarters was notified and District Manager was notified, my Physician was notified and I saw him a week ago. We had a long discussion. He gave me a new prescription and told me go to a different pharmacy but even talking to pharmacies to learn what kind of Norco they ordered is like almost pulling teeth. The quality of Pars is low quality and very l...

I have been taking 10/325 norco for many years. A few days ago I received my medication and found it had been replaced with Aurobindo Pharm U03 imprint. They make me feel very ill with a headache nausea and worse they do not take my pain away at all. I also feel very dizzy. How has the FDA approved this Indian company? Has anyone else had a problem with the U03 10/325 hydrocodone. Im frightened to take them but need pain relief. ## Yes, your pharmacy couldn't dispense it to you, if it weren't FDA approved. But there can be fluctuations from one generic medication to another, or when going from the name brand to a generic. That means this one may be slightly lower in the amount of the active ingredients, so it may not work as well for you as the other one did. Usually, the fluctu...

My husband and I are looking for a new pain management doctor, because the one we go to in Lake Charles, LA seems intent on bleeding us for every penny we have and threatening to not make us appointments for the following month if we don't pay the amount that they tell us we need to pay. My husband is disabled, but is still waiting for his SSI to be approved. In 2008, he was driving a log truck with an unloaded trailer and he was hit head on by a pickup truck. Point of impact was shown to my husband by the Trooper that was there, and it was on my husband's side of the road on the white line. He was trying to ditch the truck instead of get hit, but the guy whipped over too fast for my husband to get to the ditch. This was on a 2 lane blacktop road. The front tire and the tank wit...

I have been taking norco over the years from Watson. A couple of years ago my prescription changed to Tris I have realized over the last several refills the effects of relief are not constant as with the watsons, even within the own bottle some are strong some are not Walgreens said they dont carry Watson any longer. If FDA is monitoring this drug and lab works could there be such a huge significant difference in quality??? ## Hello Edawg, It's sort of complicated but I'll do my best to answer your question. There are rules that a generic must follow in order to sell a drug, one of these rules is that they have to prove to the FDA that they are able to consistently manufacture the drug within a 20% error of the brand name. This means that they need to prove that a person who adm...

Hello I been on watson 853 for many years from walgreens but this past few months I notice they don’t work at all just sleepy? And I went to refill at Walgreens this month and They changed to m367 and they don’t help my pain at all. More sleepy and no relief from my pain. Anybody has any ideas? I don’t think I can return them. I use them for Headaches, Pituitary Brain Tumor, Lupus, and severe arthritis. And a few other health issues!! ## No, in most cases you can't return them, due the risk of tampering, once they leave the pharmacy, although there are some that will make exceptions to help a patient. Drowsiness can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to FDA reports, other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and consti...

My pain management doctor has gone MIA (Dr. William Knight, Metairie, Louisiana). He has gone- there's no trouble reported to Louisiana Medical Board. Just gone. The 3 months worth of prescriptions he wrote me for Norco & MS Contin are almost gone too. I can't find a new pain dr. here (on the Mississippi Coast or New Orleans) who will take my Obamacare OR even take cash-pay patients. Additionally, I take a (low) dose of Xanax prescribed by the psychiatrist I began seeing with the onset of my chronic pain (bicycle crash). So, benzos, too. :-( Is there a doctor who will treat me in this new culture of pain medicine? I am really afraid. I am in my late fifties. ## Liz, I'm so sorry to hear of your predicament. Sadly,Even under ideal circumstances the concurrent use of benzo...
