Norco Intolerance After Lortab

I was taking 7.5 mg Lortab for 12 yrs. My Dr.switched me to Norco when the Lortab was discontinued. I can not tolerate the Norco. It does not feel as smooth with my back pain. Also my blood pressure shot way to high and it is hard to describe but it makes me feel like I have been eating rust. Could the differance be the filler used in the Norco? Also I took Vicodin with no problem.

It is very possible that changes in inactive ingredients could be what's causing the side effects you didn't experience with Lortab.

If you happen to know the imprint from both pills (including the previous Lortab), I'd be more than happy to look up what binders and fillers they contain. Maybe after comparing the two lists you'd have a better perspective on why it's affecting you this way.

None the less, I also think it would be wise to contact your doctor first and foremost. This way he/she can help you find a more immediate way to alleviate some of the symptoms you've been having.

Hi Martha, u may not b able 2 take the narco. It just might b giving u side effects. If I were u , I would definitely talk 2 your Doctor, right away .
