Norco Back Order

Called Watson pharmaceutical about back order of norco. I was told by the manufacturer (Watson ) the release date for the distributors nov 7th. Due to new classification of norco which is now a control 2 all pack aging and distribution had to change. They assured me they were sorry for any inconvenience I have been in severe pain as I know many have suffered through this mistake. I'm just so angry with the incompetence of pharmacies, doctors staff Nov 7th arghhhh

Hello, Sa Bic! How are you? I'm sorry that you've been having a problem finding your medication.

I'd also like to caution everyone about the shortages that almost always occur this time of year for controlled substances, due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once they reach their allotted amount, they can't manufacture any new product, until the new year. Thus, pharmacies may still run out fast and people may need to go to several to find their medications.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

If you can't find it anywhere local, you may need to ask your doctor about prescribing an alternative medication in the meantime!
