Norco 5 325 Okay To Double Up On Dose?

Okay so I am used to taking Norco 10/325. But now I only have Norco 5/325. Can I take more because I am used to a higher dose?

Have you consulted your doctor?

You really shouldn't double up, without their approval. You would be getting twice the amount of Acetaminophen as usual and that may cause problems, with certain health conditions and other medications.

I don’t know. I go to a RA doc about 225 miles round trip from my home and the nurse always puts my scripts in an envelope and seals it. I didn’t open it until I took it to my pharmacy and when my husband picked them up is when I caught the error! It was a different color, shape and lower mg. I have had severe RA for 40 yrs.
