No Third Withdrawal Bleed On Trigestrel

Hi. I started using trigestrel in January and for the past 2 months when I got to the placebo pills I would have withdrawal bleeding but it was lighter than my usual period (which I've always had quite a light period). I've just finished my third pack now but decided not to take the placebo pills as they contain no hormones and I thought they wouldn't affect anything. my problem now is that I've only just had very light brownish discharge and no real bleeding and would like to find out if I could possibly be pregnant. I take my pills at the same time every night and have never skipped. I've also experienced serious side effects such as dizziness, nausea and tender breasts and have assumed it was the pill because it started when I started the pill. I know a pregnancy test can be the thing to give me a clear answer but my nerves are so short I can't bring myself to taking one

If you haven't missed any tablets, then no, there isn't much of a chance that you're pregnant, at all.

Skipping your period can be a side effect of oral contraceptives, some women stop having them entirely while using one, the other symptoms you've described can also be normal side effects.

By all means, if you're worried, consult your doctor, and/or get checked for pregnancy, but as I said, this is normal for many women taking hormonal contraceptives.

Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
