No Period- 3rd Package

I started my period November 25, 2012 and it lasted till November 27, 2012. I started birth control on Novemeber 25, 2012.. I haven't gotten my period since, I should've started December 23, 2012, but it never came. I've been told this is normal, but now it's January 22, 2013 and still no period.. Should I be concerned? I'm gettin worried, help!

Hi Ellie,

Birth control can definitely be complicated, I wouldn't be worried though. From what I've researched, it isn't harmful for your body to not go through the menstrual cycle once in a blue moon, or for it to be delayed. However, if this were to happen on a regular basis it's definitely something you would want to discuss with your Gynecologist. I would give your body another week to adjust and sort itself out, and then ask your Gynecologist if nothing happens.
