No Consumer Interest In Af Plus

It is apparent that AF Plus is not appealing to consumers. Despite intensive advertising over a considerable time period offering a free trial to the first 100 applicants, they are not getting even 100 applicants. Presumably once they have their 100 applicants they would stop advertising. Why keep advertising after 100 if you are not going to respond to them? (The alternative is that they are lying about supplying only the first 100 applicants. If so, then they may also be lying about the efficacy of the product.)

Hello, Quargy! How are you?

That's actually a very common marketing tactic, it's intended to gain consumer interest by creating a sense of urgency. False advertising is illegal, but there is nothing that restricts how many times they can renew their offer, so it can technically end after the first 100 people, then be renewed for another 100 people and they can continue such a thing indefinitely.

This type of thing happens very frequently in sales, someone selling vacuums door to door may offer a discount to someone, but only if they sign on the dotted line that very day….but the person may decide they want it 2 days later, only to be told that the salesman has decided to go ahead and give them the 10% discount anyway…

What consumer is going to try to file a false advertising claim about being given a discount they though they were no longer going to get?

And even if someone did, they company has a million ways of beating the claim, but just saying they changed their minds, or they just put a new offer in place and etc.

It's just like a coupon offer from a store, for instance, I regularly receive text coupons from Bed, Bath & Beyond for 10% off, but it has to be used by a certain date….however, there is nothing that stops them from sending me a new one to use with a new expiration date.

As to the efficacy of the product, most companies make such claims and they are allowed to do so, as long as they don't claim that it treats or cures anything and they don't try to say that it's FDA approved and etc.

Are there any questions or comments?
