No Periods On Weekends?

I started sprintec in October and my obgyn told me that as it regulates my period it should make it so that I shouldn't have my period on the weekends. How true is that for other people? Like for example my last period ended on Saturday but eventually I think it's supposed to end on Friday. Does it actually do this? Any stories? Thanks!

I'm sorry, I am not sure why your doctor told you that, because there is no way to guarantee that will happen.

There is a chance that taking an oral contraceptive will make your menstrual cycle lighter and shorter, but that's not something that happens to everyone that takes it and there's no way to make sure that's how it works for you.
