No Period After Stopping Sprintec

I stopped taking Sprintec in July/August because I no longer wished to be on it. I had my period in September, but have since not seen it. I did have irregular periods before I was ever on BC and missed periods from stress. I was stressed out lately but it has since calmed down, and now im not sure if my period would come... its probably been almost 30 days late, and pregnancy results have been neg and ovulation tests low. Im thinking of going to the dr soon to get checked out, but just want to know if I should wait it out or if now would be best. Btw, ive been overly tired lately, and went from eating a bunch to not having an appetite at all...

It's best to have things checked out, but most likely there is nothing to worry about and it's just from stopping the OCs. Your body gets used to the hormones they add to prevent ovulation and kind of forgets how to balance them out on its own, so it can take several months for things to get back to normal.

The appetite change can also be a normal effect of stopping them, you may also experience dizziness, headache and PMS like symptoms.
