Nitrofurantoin And Penicillin At The Same Time?
UpdatedI am on day 3 of nitrofurantion 100mgx4tpd for kidney infection. I have now taken a nasty throat/gland infection and have been prescribed penicillin 500mgx4tpd. Can I take both together or do I need to finish the antibiotic for kidney infection first?

I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between the two antibiotics and such medications are often prescribed together, if someone has severe infections that are known to respond to different kinds of antibiotics.
