Nitrofuran Monohyd Macro100mg

I am on day 3 OF NITROFURAN MONOHYD MACRO 100MG 100 mg for urinary track infection every 12hrs, I have problems with my stomach and have been prescribed DICYCLOMINE 10MG/5ML. (1/2 hr before meals) Is safe to take while taking NUTRIFURAN?

Hi Virnia,

Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Nitrofurantoin and Dicyclomine.

So just going off that information alone, I don't think there should be any problems using the two together (outside of each medication's own general side effects).

However, if you still have any reservations about taking them, it may be best to call your doctor up and verify that it's ok with him as well.

Was it the same doctor who prescribed you the Nitrofurantoin, that also give you the script for Dicyclomine?
