Nitrofuran Monohyd Macro 100 Mg Low Bp

I am experiencing hypotension (72/40) Is this related to the use of this drug? I am calling the doctor tomorrow. Also experiencing nausea. Please help

Hi, Gary! Sorry about the issues you're having. Are you feeling any better?

The nausea can be a normal side effect of this antibiotic, however, the hypotension isn't. But the question there is whether or not you've had other side effects from it, such as diarrhea?

If so, then you may be getting dehydrated, which could be causing the low BP.
