There are no interactions listed in my resources, but you should check with a doctor or pharmacist to be certain.

In certain cases of severe infections, it may be necessary to prescribe a higher dose of antibiotics, or a combination of different ones.

They both can cause similar side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
