Nitrofur Macr 100 Mg And Alcohol

I will be going to many functions this week where there will be wine drinking. I have just started taking nitrofur-macr for the next 3 days. Could I drink a glass of light wine?

It's not really advisable, since the alcohol can cause aggravation of the side effects, such as making the nausea, dizziness and diarrhea much worse than usual.
