Hi kevin,

Sorry to hear about your situation. I can certainly understand your concern since there's not a whole lot one can do to escape the side effects of a fused disc. However, you may want to consider approaching a physical therapist about various types of stretching and/or yoga exercises that you can do at home in order to help keep things in proper alignment with your neck.

Through repetition, this would be likely to alleviate a lot of pressure on your spine, nerves and other sensitive areas. Often times those parkinson-like symptoms can also be related to a weakened spine from not enough physical activity; so in my opinion, exercising regularly is one of the best things you can do to keep your body in order for life.

I hope this advice helps!
