Hi Sue,

Based on my research, Nimesulide is approved for the treatment of acute pain, the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis and primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescents and adults above 12 years old. It has a multifactorial mode of action and is characterized by a fast onset of action.

The normal dose for this medication is (100 mg) twice a day. Always be sure to only follow the dosing instructions your doctor has provided.

Possible side effects:

Diarrhoea
Vomiting
Skin rash
Pruritis
Dizziness
Bitterness in mouth
