Nexito Plus Ill Effects

Recently, someone I know consumed 18 of these with an intention to end life. Luckily the person was given medical attention within 3 hours of consumption. Can this medicine prove fatal if consumed more?

Any medication has the potential to cause fatal effects, if someone takes too much of it, at once.

Nexito contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant.

Some of the problems that may occur, which could put someone's life at risk are tachycardia, dyskinesia, hypertonia and clonus.

And, even if they did receive life-saving treatment, they could still have done permanent damage to their organs and will need to follow up with a doctor.
