Newcita Plus And Sleeping Problems

I have started taking Newcita Plus to treat my depression. I am on the 10mg tablets and can't sleep at night. Is this normal?

How long have you been taking it?

In the initial stages, before your body adjusts to the medication, medications in this class can cause disruption to your sleep, due to the fact that they can delay the onset of the REM stage of sleep, according to the NIH. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and weight changes.

It should improve after about 4 to 5 weeks of taking it, once your body adjusts.
