UpdatedIndiana just changed there laws and my doc says they are makeing them refer people like me to a clinc. I have took methadone for at least 5 years and prob. 10 years. Is Indiana really making them do this or is this just so my doc can be done with me? I hate hate hate are government and the control they have us under!!!

That is totally UNTRUE because I have been prescribed methadone and xanax from my doc who has his own practice and have been prescribed them since 2013.
Do you have pain management clinics or just methadone clinics? I go thru a pm clinic and its just like a primary..its switching nationwide..the pmc docs hands are being tied with pain meds. .my primary care sent me to mines 3 yrs ago...im pleased.
Hello, Adam! How are you?
Yes, new regulations were put in place last year that severely restrict what your regular doctor can prescribe, so you will have to go to a clinic. This is universal all over the U.S.
It was done to try to get better control and stop increasing rates of improper prescribing and over prescribing.
Are there any other questions or concerns?
