New Watson 853 10/325

I took a couple from my new prescription yesterday, and let me tell you, they ARE NOT THE SAME. It felt like I had taken Xanax or Valium. Not the same feeling as Norco's... They made me sick after taking just two... I never throw up on regular pain pills. I do however, always throw up when I take benzo's... What's the deal with that. Of course I can't go to my doctor and ask him for a refill a week after I got this one. Plus it does nothing for my pain what so ever. I guess they changed it up to be less habit forming. I don't know... I just hope I got a bad batch or something because I will be taking these to the doctor to complain.

check with your doctor. I printed some coupons for 75% off and next month I am going to get Brand name and pay for them and not let insurance dictate and see what happens.
I wish i knew how to get a lab analysis done. I have several samples of hydros that are very diffrent.
It's the filler they buy cheep from cargil. Byproduct from ethanol plants and such. The corn or wheat plant that the gluten and such come from is genetic lymetsr modified to produce a heavier seed full of more heavy gluten. The average human can't process this geneticly modified product (which wasn't even grown for food). Before they changed the law in the 90's these byproducts were considered toxic waste. Cargil and others has to pay to get rid of this toxic waste. It's in animal feed. The animal usually gets butchered before it starts having problems. Have you noticed how many people are gluten intolerant nowadays? It's in the sport drink/smart drink industry. That's what got that started (monster) I think the first one was called. Now I can tell they are using it in our pills.
It seems to me that an ever growing number of people are having similar issues with these newer white Watson pills. You can see the growing trend by searching for "white 853" here on MedsChat. The manufacturer notes that they only removed the yellow dye, but I sense that all the related reviewers have something majorly in common with them not being nearly as effective. I have also heard rumor that generic drugs are permitted to contain as much 20% plus or minus the amount of active ingredients as their brand name counterparts. Assuming the latter, and considering that Watson 853's are generic Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone bitartrate 10/325, part of me suspects if this is the underlying reason they don't work; or perhaps a change in binders/fillers may be hindering bioavailability... Interestingly enough no one I've come across to date has been able to get a lab analysis done to verify any such claims on the pill's contents. I hope your doctor was able to recommend a better manufacturer since you last posted. Take care!
