New Kadian Prescription

My PM Dr just added Kadian 20mg 1x daily to my current meds. I suffer with insomnia already & don't want to make it worse by taking this at the wrong time of day nor do I want to be drowsy all day. Can anyone share their experience with this medicine & what time of day to take it for best results & least side effects? Thanks in advance

This is an extended release formulation of Morphine, drowsiness, can be a common side effect of it, according to FDA reports, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Have you started taking it, yet? How intense such side effects are can vary from person to person. What other medications do you take? That can also play a role.
