I was forced to take it while in a psychiatric hospital and went from being talkative to being completely silent and suffering from a complete inability to feel. I also can't concentrate or hear what people are saying and I'm young only 27 and try to go on a date with a guy and he'll ask me a philisophical question and I'll say "uh..."

In the hospital, they aren't as worried about such side effects, because their goal there is to keep you calm and to prevent you from being a danger to yourself or anyone else.
However, once you're out and trying to live life normally again, medication changes or dosage adjustments are sometimes needed.
Have you talked to your doctor about the issue? What dosage are you on?
