Neuralgia
UpdatedI have been diagnosed with neuralgia and was prescribed Degranol 200mg twice a day and Cymgen 30mg once a day for almost 2 years now. After months being on the medication i started getting hair loss, I am 53. Could it be the medication? why did the hair problem start so much later. Could it be menopause ?

It might be a combination of the medications and the onset of Menopause, it can cause a low thyroid function in many women and that's one of the side effects.

Thus, you may want to consult your doctor about it, to be certain what's causing it.
Have you shown any other menopausal symptoms?
Only just recently has there been a change with my period. Since last year Nov it suddently stopped and i used to get it regularly. Not had a period since, but the hair loss started long before Nov last year.
